Product Introduction
Dewatering Elements are core dewatering matching parts for wire section of fourdrinier paper machine, including ceramic doctor blades, vacuum box panels, polymer vacuum box covers, dewatering foils and ceramic sealing strips. Installed under forming wire, they remove excess white water from pulp rapidly via vacuum negative pressure and physical water scraping to stabilize sheet formation uniformity and lower moisture content before dryer section. Widely applied on fourdrinier production lines for white board, cultural paper, specialty paper and plastic-free food paper. Main body adopts high-wear alumina ceramic and UHMWPE composite material, featuring wear resistance, corrosion resistance and wire protection. The photo shows full-width finished ceramic vacuum box dewatering panels, customizable according to paper machine width and vacuum tank size.

Core Advantages
High-hardness alumina ceramic working surface delivers much longer wear-resistant service life than plastic dewatering parts, resisting groove abrasion under long-term high-speed operation to cut replacement downtime and raise paper machine operating rate;
Ceramic + rubber composite buffer structure absorbs shock and protects wire, effectively avoiding forming wire scratch & perforation to drastically lower wire consumable purchasing cost;
Balanced parallel flow guide vacuum grooves realize uniform cross-direction dewatering, eliminating sheet defects such as thickness streaks and warpage to improve finished paper formation and printing quality;
Dual material options of ceramic & polymer adapt two working conditions: heavy-abrasion white board and gentle thin specialty paper, resisting acid-alkali filler corrosion without rust spot sheet contamination;
Modular segmented splicing design only requires single strip replacement for partial damage to reduce maintenance cost, full-width non-standard customization compatible with vacuum box renovation of all new & old fourdrinier paper machines;
Stable dewatering efficiency with smooth white water drainage without backflow lowers sheet moisture before dryer section to save steam energy consumption and cut comprehensive mass production cost in long run.

FAQ
Q: Where are dewatering elements installed on paper machine?
A: Mounted on vacuum suction box under forming wire of fourdrinier paper machine for pulp white water removal.
Q: Why equip black rubber buffer strip under ceramic?
A: Absorb friction shock between ceramic and forming wire to avoid rigid scratch & perforation damage of polyester wire, also seal vacuum to prevent negative pressure leakage.
Q: Are two material versions available for different paper grades?
A: Ceramic for heavy-abrasion coated white board; UHMWPE polymer for ultra-thin specialty & food packaging paper with gentle dewatering demand.
Q: Will the ceramic surface scratch polyester forming wire?
A: Mirror polished smooth burr-free ceramic surface, matched with rubber shock absorption buffer, almost no wire scratch during long-term high-speed operation.
